About Kerala:-
Kerala , historically known as Keralam, is a state in South India on the Malabar coast. It was formed on 1 November 1956 following the States Reorganisation Act by combining various Malayalam-speaking regions. Spread over 38,863 km2 (15,005 sq mi), it is bordered by Karnataka to the north and north east, Tamil Nadu to the east and south, and the Lakshadweep Sea to the west. With 33,387,677 inhabitants as per the 2011 census, Kerala is the thirteenth largest state by population and is divided into 14 districts with the capital being Thiruvananthapuram. Malayalam is the most widely spoken and the official language of the state.
The region was a prominent spice exporter from 3000 BCE. The Chera Dynasty was the first prominent kingdom based in Kerala, though it frequently struggled against attacks from the neighbouring Cholas and Pandyas. In the 15th century, the spice trade attracted Portuguese traders to Kerala, and paved the way for the European colonisation of India. After independence, Travancore and Cochin joined the Republic of India and Travancore-Cochin was given the status of a state. In 1956, Kerala state was formed by merging Malabar district, Travancore-Cochin (excluding four southern taluks), and the taluk of Kasargod, South Kanara.
Kerala has the lowest positive population growth rate in India; 3.44%, highest Human Development Index (HDI); 0.790 in 2011, second highest literacy rate; 93.91% only after Tripura(96.8%), the highest life expectancy; 77 years and the highest sex ratio; 1,084 women per 1000 men. The state has witnessed significant emigration, especially to the Gulf states during the Gulf Boom of the 1970s and early 1980s, and its economy depends significantly on remittances from a large Malayali expatriate community. Hinduism is practiced by more than half of the population, followed by Islam and Christianity. The culture is a synthesis of Aryan and Dravidian cultures, developed over millennia, under influences from other parts of India and abroad.

About Me:-
My name is Chaitanya Sharma, & I am 25 years old. I live with my family at the outer skirts of Panchkula. I am an employee of Just Dial Ltd, at Chandigarh & working as a “Client Relationship Executive”. My profile is quite easy to understand, but my profile is quite hard to understand, even my trying to figure it out day by day how can I survive in this fast moving competitive world. Being a bachelor, I badly wanted to go out on a holiday, either with my friends or my family. But this was a perfect time to spend time with my family as everyone is so busy in their professional life. As usual what we planned couldn’t stick to the previous holiday spot i.e. Singapore. We all were upset why we can’t go for a foreign trip?? , but it’s all about destiny, sometimes we have to change our plan. So we shifted to Kerala from Singapore.  I went to make my trip office along with my father and booked our new-year holidays at Kerala. This journey comprises 5 days & 5 nights at Kerala.
We all were so excited for the day we all had shopping before going to Kerala at it was a hot humid environment and in north it was very cold. When I got a call from the booking agency about the air tickets & hotel booking, I gave mom n sis surprise at the time of dinner. We all were waiting for 27 December. Finally the date on calendar was 26 December & we hired a cab up to Delhi. We started around 11:00 pm & reached Delhi airport around 5:00 am. Delhi airport was like our 43-sector ISBT. It took 1 hour to pass through all the security process. Finally we were at the waiting lounge and were waiting for our call for boarding. We had a great time, at airport while waiting and specially the-family-pizza party.   When we heard the announcement, we went to our respective gates & went to the bus. Finally we were in the plane & the journey is about to begin. The plane starts and its 8:05 am in the morning. After 15 minutes I was into deep sleep so was my family. I woke up after 2 hours & within a few minutes, the captain told us that we are about to land & we landed after a few minutes to the Kochi Domestic Airport.
The weather was hot and humid and after we came out the chauffeur was waiting and we were on the way to Munnar the famous hill station of Kerala. It is popular for Indian spices & tea estate that we use in our daily life, like dalchini, elaichi , kali mirch , loung, coco, coffee, tez patta , all ingredients of garam masala we use in our daily life (name of spices in desi language sounds better and easy to understand). The entire forest seems to us is an agriculture land for them as they have covered minimum 30-40 acres of land and utilised & cultivated properly.
You can smell the spices even if you open the window & journey in to a forest was amazing. We came to know about lots of things how to check teh purity of Indian spices.
After travelling 22 kms we took a right turn and entered a beautiful tea estate, & narrow roads. Then we finally arrived our destination “TEA RESORT” a perfect resort, into the nature, beautiful ambiance fresh air. I have never been into such a resort. Welcome tea, Christmas decoration everything was amazing. While going to our room I saw a tree house, always wanted to be there.
